Where it Began and Why

I started the Regency Library in 1996 in order to provide primary and secondary research materials to writers. The Library was also initiated in order to preserve books from people who would purchase them to take the fashion and other color plates to sell individually, thus "breaking the books."

Where We are Today

In addition to a presence on Facebook , which is open to everyone, we offer a subscription service that delivers information to subscribers via email. This site is representative of what is offered to subscribers on a monthly basis. See below for more information on subscription and other services.
