About this Library
The Regency Library provides primary and secondary research materials to writers and to everyone interested in the period between 1770 and 1830. Subscribers receive a monthly newsletter full of fashions, news, gossip and information about every day life during this period. In addition to the documents featured in the Stacks, a special sample issue has been composed from select documents chosen from those which were distributed in the November, December 2022 and the January 2023 Issues. See below for more information. Regency Library also has a presence on Facebook where everyone is welcome to join the conversation and/or promote their novels and share ideas. Check back with this site often as new material will be shared here that is too lengthy for the Facebook page.
